Figuring this Blog thing out

Ok now I think I may have figured this blog thing out we shall see.
Here is my first attempt at posting a picture. Its one of the many dish cloths I made for my sisters. Can you see the apple? lol
Ok now that I have that figured out.... Here are the two projects I am currently working on...

This is a blanket I am making for my daughter. It is the feather and fan pattern. Super easy pattern that looks like it's hard, at least to me. Which is why I was so excited to see it coming out. It seems to be going really quick even though I still have a ways to go on it. Now this next one is the complete opposite. Super easy pattern, its like K10, P10..like a basket weave pattern, but it seems to take forever. I am making it for my nephew that was just born this past Wednesday. I hope to be done with it before he turns 5! lol

And thats it so far. I have also started working on a dish cloth/towel set for my sister for Christmas. I plan on making a set for all the women in my family which is why I am starting now.

  2. How are the cables coming along.
I have a dishcloth pattern that uses cables. I want to try it because the dishcloth looks so neat. I think I have it figured out in my head how cables work now I just need to attempt them.

  3. they came out great! it's not that bad! i bet you could totally do it! basically you slip off two stitches, knit or purl the next stitch, then knit or purl the two stitches on the needle. the only think you have to watch for is where the stitches go while you knit the one stitch.

  4. As soon as I finish the towel that I started I am going to attempt the cable dishcloth pattern. I know it is going to take a while for the blankets. Cables look kinda easy to do but I keep on thinking of a million reasons why they won't be.
